The once famous old music bar in Geelong, The Barking Dog, received an injection of “personality” with this latest concept from Bate design. The client wanted each space to offer a different theme targetting various sectors from morning coffee groups through to late night revellers. The concept described as “rough luxe”, this hotel is a leading venue in the region and has been selected for the front cover of the “Clubs & Pubs Manager” Summer Issue 2012.
The as constructed building was the Runner Up in the National Building Services Award for its suspended glass wall, cantilever floors and ground breaking building technology.
